    • Import Navisworks file into Revit May 25, 2018
Hey all,I've been hoping to use Manage 2018 on a project but I noticed that pulling in a Revit 2017 file (Importing the native file) just causes it to hang. I don't recall there being an issue with pulling in previous versions of a file type (Newer obviously yes) Is this "Feature" here to stay or just a miss in the current version? We sho […]

    • Timeliner animation using the Viewport renderer (AVI) is not multicore ? May 25, 2018
Seems like that rendering a timeliner simulation using the "viewport" renderer (not the Autodesk renderer which will calculate textures, lights, etc... being then, even slower) is not using much of my cores (may be 1 or 2)...Is it possible that this operation is not multi threaded or did I miss a turn ???Thanks for your ideas...

    • Navisworks Navigation speed May 24, 2018
I am in a pretty large Navis model 690MB .nwd format. The size shouldnt be a problem because I have larger models. It is scaled correctly.  The walk speed is so fast. I went to the Options - Interface - SteeringWheels - Walk Tool - Walk Speed, where i lowered it to 0.1 and it is still really fast. Almost feels as if it is the same speed as setting it to 10. […]

    • Subcontractor “Pass-Through” Claims Still a Matter of Controversy
Subcontractor “pass-through” claims, sponsored by a prime contractor against a public project owner, are both useful and controversial.
